On the occasion of the House Museum Days, the Etty Hillesum Huis will offer free admission on 18 April. Visitors are warmly invited to explore the house and its exhibition dedicated to Etty Hillesum.

During the EHH opening hours, between 13:00 and 17:00, volunteers will be present to welcome guests, answer questions, and facilitate informal conversations. Visitors are also invited to enjoy coffee and tea in the café area, offering a space for reflection and discussion on Hillesum’s life and thought.

This collaborative initiative led by the Italian National Association of Houses of Memory(Italy) with ICOM-DEMHIST and ICOM-ICLCM (International Committee of Literary and Composers’ Museums)  is dedicated to celebrating historic houses, houses of memory and the figures they commemorate. The event will provide the framework for a global focus on Historic House Museums.
